LANGTU W1: My Thoughts
Price
It’s hard to beat the price of the LANGTU W1. If your only goal is to get a keyboard for under $20 and there are no other options that suit your fancy, this will work. However, its price does seem to be its hallmark feature compared to other keyboards.
Construction
The keyboard is constructed very cheaply. It does not have any premium features like Bluetooth connectivity.
Keycaps
The keycaps are very cheap and replacing them would be a hassle since they use a non-standard attachment.
Keyboard Mechanics
It’s a standard membrane plunger keyboard. Adjust your expectations accordingly.
Problems I Encountered When Using the LANGTU W1
Firstly, the keys on this keyboard were extremely heavy. They were uncomfortable to use and required a lot of mashing to get the inputs compared to a more smooth mechanical keyboard. I don’t suspect this keyboard would really be good for gaming even though that’s what it was marketed for.
