NOTE: AS OF NOVEMBER 2025 TIIMO IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE ON ANDROID
As a neurodivergent freelancer, I am always on the lookout for a new productivity apps that might help me get a little extra focused. Everyone recommended Tiimo, like when I say that I mean everyone. I’ve never used a visual to-do list before. I’ve only ever used timers and white noise. So, I was super interested in trying out Tiimo. Let’s take a look at my experience.

My Experience with Tiimo
I have, thus far, really enjoyed using Tiimo. It helps me visually determine how much time I have left for a task, which is excellent for my time management. It also helps create a sense of urgency with completing my tasks.
Widget
The thing that helped me most was the widget for the timer and associated checklist. However, I found that the widget doesn’t update in real-time the way I would like it to. Additionally, when using it with Nova Launcher in light mode, the checklist is invisible because the text and box are both white and can’t be changed.
Checklists
One thing that I really like about Tiimo is ability to create checklists. This ensures that when I plan to do a task, I remember to do it, which is very important for people who struggle with executive functioning problems.
Web App
My best experience was with the Tiimo web app. I found that Tiimo’s web app was the ideal place for me to put together my calendar and since it doesn’t conflict with my other productivity apps this was the perfect place to put it. However, it lacked a visual timer like the phone app has, which made it less effective for time management for me.
Is Tiimo Premium Worth It?
I used the free trial for Tiimo, but I didn’t actually use any of the premium features. So, I would say that you aren’t missing out on anything if you only use the free version of Tiimo.
