One thing I’ve always wanted to be into is journalling. I’ve bought hundreds, if not thousands, of physical, bound paper journals only to write one to three entries and cast it to the journal graveyard. Digitalizing my journal has helped me keep up with it, even if I don’t write every day (though I try to.) The journalling app I’ve had the most success with is Toxx. Let’s dive right in.

One of the features that was most important to me when I decided on Toxx was that Toxx allows you to lock your journal. Like most journal apps, the developers have put features like this behind a paywall.

Cute Pages, Fonts, and Themes

If you’re someone who enjoys having a specific theme for their apps, Toxx has you covered with hundreds of cosmetics both free and paid that you can apply to your journal. I always use the same page decorations on my journal entries so I can easily identify what kind of entry it is by the visual appearance when I look back through them.

Is Toxx Premium Worth It?

Toxx Premium unlocks mostly cosmetics for your journal. There are no features you absolutely need locked behind the Premium subscription. However, if you want your journal to have a passcode lock, you will need to subscribe.
